We are seeking an experienced Legal Consultant to provide expert legal advice and guidance to our organization on a variety of legal matters. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law, with the ability to offer practical solutions to complex legal issues. As a Legal Consultant, you will play a key role in ensuring the company’s operations comply with applicable laws, minimizing legal risks, and offering strategic advice to management.
Responsibilities
Legal Advice and Consultation: Provide expert legal advice to senior management and various departments on a range of legal issues, including contracts, intellectual property, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Contract Drafting and Review: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure they are legally sound and align with the company's interests.
Risk Management: Identify legal risks and recommend proactive solutions to minimize potential liabilities, ensuring that the company’s practices comply with local and international laws.
Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards in all business operations, including labor law, environmental law, data privacy, and industry-specific regulations.
Litigation Support: Advise on legal disputes and litigation matters, coordinating with external legal counsel as necessary. Represent the company in legal proceedings when required.
Policy Development: Assist in developing, implementing, and revising company policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with evolving laws and regulations.
Training and Awareness: Conduct legal training for staff members to raise awareness of legal risks, obligations, and ethical standards relevant to their roles.
Mergers and Acquisitions: Provide legal support for corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, ensuring due diligence and contract execution.
Requirements
Experience: Proven experience as a Legal Consultant, Corporate Counsel, or in a similar role, with at least [X] years of experience in a corporate or commercial legal environment.
Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, intellectual property, labor law, and regulatory compliance.

Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with legal management software, e-discovery tools, and online legal resources.
